Offering a uniquely Australian perspective on the US Presidential election

Rob Oakeshott

Rob (I cant hear enough ass kissing) Oakshott

Rob Oakeshott responsible for two of the biggest faux pas in Australian political history

It is humbling to consider that a nice ordinary chap whose only fault is talking too much was a key facilitator of two of the biggest faux pas in Australian political history, the $23 a tonne carbon tax and the mining untax.

Among his many fine qualities Rob is particularly adept at reading the writing on the wall and this prompted his decision not to contest the last election.

He will be remembered in these files as a well-intentioned bloke who was led astray by a woman who gave him the opportunity of 15 minutes of fame just so she could hang on to the prime ministership for three years.
