Completely Foreign to Her
In a further move designed to develop her foreign policy credentials Sarah Palin has cancelled a trip to Sudan. Reports suggest she took the decision after discovering she couldn’t travel there by bus and the Sudanese don’t get a vote in US presidential elections.

Coming and Going
Following Obama’s announcement of a de-surge in Afghanistan some uncertainty persists. He’s warned the Taliban that he’ll keep coming until he’s going and he’s told Karzai that despite his shortcomings he should keep on coming through the tough going until he decides when the final US going is coming because when the going gets tough the tough stop coming.

Sim Card for President
Experts now believe that the job of US President has become so impossible that it’s beyond the capacity of even the most worthy candidates. The most promising future strategy at this point beyond awaiting the second coming seems to be hiring a B movie actor to play everyone’s idea of the perfect president and elect an iPhone to run the country.

Sliding Down the Greecy Pole
By a narrow majority the Greek parliament has voted not to send the country bankrupt. Unfortunately there seems no guarantee that the US congress will follow their example.
