If Michele Bachmann gets the Republican nomination word is that she’ll choose Sarah Palin as her running mate. If as suspected they’re one and the same person it would make things much easier if they were working in the White House together.

Americans should be very proud that theirs is the only economy in the world with the power to move down from fourteen trillion in the can to seventeen.

Employment Policy
There is considerable disappointment in the Republican Party that they haven’t yet unearthed a presidential candidate who is unemployed. No other candidate could claim so convincingly that his or her election as president would guarantee a drop in unemployment.

Silver Lining
If the US doesn’t raise the debt ceiling and defaults on debt repayments all will not be lost. The impact will certainly help folks forget about the huge disappointment of Two and a Half Men without Charlie Sheen and the NFL season being cancelled.
